Dream Come True of the Day: Chelsea Gill, who became the latest civilian to reach out to a celebrity via the Internet with her “Jason Segel Song,” got her wish over the weekend when she met the How I Met Your Mother star for drinks at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chicago.
Gill and her twin sister then accompanied Segel to the Chicago Film Critics Awards, where he accepted the coveted Commedia Extraordinaire Award.
Earlier, the man behind the newest addition to The Muppets franchise called Gill’s song “my favorite thing, maybe ever.” Speaking to the press at the Ritz-Carlton, Gill called Segel “down to earth, sweet and humble; just a sweetheart.”
No doubt about that.
